Back To Work! 😩

Hello Gist lovers, welcome back 🥳. I hope you enjoyed the first post.

Guys it’s back to work o and me I am not ready 😩.

As promised, I slept early-ish 🤭 so I can wake up early this morning. After several alarms I finally got up, dressed and ready for the day🤸🏾‍♀️🤸🏾‍♀️. All jazzed up for the day ahead.

In order to make sure the energy is fully activated, I have a lovely karaoke session with myself on my ride to work. Each day is different so the music choices will be as well. Phone safely placed to allow safe travel while still enjoying the music. Music: Dior by Ruger

Finally get to work, energy on 💯. Greeting colleagues welcoming everyone to the new year. Happy New year vibes!

Ofcourse this was short lived as one of my colleagues relocated abroad so she obviously wasn’t in 😭 and that was sad, I will really miss her. Then in addition to that millions of emails and admin duties to catch up on🥴. I instantly started getting headaches 😂.

The day was busy, long and productive but extremely exhausting. To make myself feel better, I kept asking my colleagues if we will get a new work diary for the year so I can start planning 😂💀 busy acting like a random book wouldn’t do the job. Well a little company free book might make it better 😂, you know!

To top up the day, I get a whiff that one of the staff might be leaving soon👀. This is work tea ☕️. Because wow everyone is resigning 💀 lately…

Ultimately the day was good, colleagues are In one piece and I am glad. I just need to mentally prepare for the tasks of the year. It’s scary and exciting because I really love what I do! Staying positive🤸🏾‍♀️ and when I need to cry I shall do so as well 😂 because Siyakhala (we cry) on a regular it’s normal! It will be a good year ok! 🤟🏾🤟🏾
